First we had some long overdue live shows with Dinosaur Jr and the reissue of a handful of crusty (yet goldy) Sebadoh albums, and now we have godfather of lo-fi, Lou Barlow announcing a set of UK and European solo live dates and providing a timely and suitably scruffy riposte to all the over-stylised nonsense erupting elsewhere on planet indie.
Lou will be performing tracks from his recent album, 'Goodnight Unknown', as well as from his considerable back catalogue.
The tour, which kicks off in Brussels on January 30th will call at the Deaf Institute in Manchester, Dingwalls in London, Stereo in Glasgow, before heading to Paris, Amsterdam and Cologne.
Full dates are as follows:
Saturday 30th January Belgium, Brussels, AB
Sunday 31st January UK, Manchester Deaf Institute

Tuesday 2nd February UK, London Dingwalls
