Angus and Julia Stone - 'Down The Way album - UK Tour

Angus and Julia roll into Europe for a wave of dates. New album out now.

Beautiful Australian surfer brother and sister dude and dudette, Angus and Julia Stone released new album, ‘Down The Way’ through Flock Music back in March.

Co-produced by Martha Wainwright producer, Brad Albetta and recorded at a several diverse locations around the world (including an old saw mill in Fowey, Cornwall, a studio in Brooklyn and New York) the album is another snoozy yet impossibly dreamy brew of laid-back road tunes and sun-kissed ruminations on black crows, Santa Monica, making pizza, children you’ll never meet, children you left behind and stumbling off down the yellow-brick road.

For those who feel they’ve heard the bright and breezy, ‘Big Jet Plane’ somewhere before, you’d be right. The song appeared on last year’s solo ‘Lady of the Sunshine’ release by brother Angus. And because it’s such a slurring, cosmic dream it’s been revived here with sister Julia.

The duo return to the UK with a series of dates in the UK as part of their European tour, headlining at Shepherds Bush Empire on April 22nd.
