You can never have too much of a good thing, right?
Not when you’re talking this good you can’t. No. Pure
and simple as that. Some would argue (nay, reason) that
The Polyphonic Spree are more than a good thing
anyway. A wonderful thing, a spiritual thing, a glimpse
of whatever heaven you choose to believe in. If you
choose to believe in a heaven at all. If you don’t,
something as equally utopian. Whatever, you know what
we’re saying. And they’re probably right. So to satisfy
your desires we have more Spree for you.
‘Light and Day’, the third single off the stunning debut
album ‘The Beginning Stages Of…’, is released
on February 10. The video for the said song is
available by clicking the link below. It looks to us
like it was recorded at their show at London’s Shepherd’s
Bush Empire back at the end of October (incidentally
a show that this scribe missed after being stranded
in Coventry by the tetchy British weather… bah!) and
is a frenzy of leaping and smiling and whiter than white
whiteness. Enjoy it.
