Those pesky Liverpudlians are at it again… sweeping
the city for scallies and upon their discovery (often
in the darkest corner of town, Castlemaine in hand,
Benson between his lips) barricading handfuls of them
in to the confines of a dimly lit Merseyside bedroom
to teach them a lesson.
Once numbed to the many and varied pleasures of daytime
TV, there really is only one sensible option for these
kids –make some stomping tunes and get the hell out
of dodge (How else did you think Liverpool created such
a bizarrely high proportion of the rock n roll canon??)
So, stand up, elbow your way to the front avoiding that
big, pissed off looking geezer, and give a warm welcome
to my six new favourite mischief makers, The Bandits.
Recently spotted on the run with 2002’s most wanted,
The Music, The Vines and The Libertines, these
boys mean business –they are armed, dangerous and about
