Headline Festival appearances at Glastonbury & Isle of Wight Live:
Finsbury Park (with Oasis) The Charlatans, who picked up 2 Awards
at this Years NME Awards including the 'Outstanding Achievement'
Award, release a new single, You're So Pretty - We're So Pretty
through Universal Island Records on Monday April 8th. You're So Pretty,
We're So Pretty is the third single to be taken from the band's No.
2 album Wonderland.
The band have also announced two festival appearances. They will
headline Glastonbury and the Isle of Wight Festival and will appear
as special guests to Oasis at Finsbury Park. The dates are:
June
3rd Isle of Wight Festival (HEADLINE)
28th Glastonbury Festival (HEADLINE)
July (SPECIAL GUESTS TO OASIS) SOLD OUT
5th London Finsbury Park
6th London Finsbury Park
7th London Finsbury Park
You're So Pretty - We're So Pretty will be available on CD, 12" and
DVD.
The CD includes:
You're So Pretty - We're So Pretty (edit), You're So Pretty - We're
So Pretty (Lo Fidelity All Stars Mix) and Room 511 Trafalgar Hotel.
The 12' contains You're So Pretty - We're So Pretty (album version),
You're So Pretty - We're So Pretty (Lo Fidelity All Stars Mix) and
Silly Thing.
The DVD features the video for You're So Pretty - We're So Pretty
and clips of the band live at V2001.
Wonderland is The Charlatans' seventh album, with three (Some
Friendly (1990), The Charlatans (1995) and Tellin' Stories (1997)
all reaching number one in the UK chart. The band's sixth album,
Us and Us Only (1999), debuted at number two.
